The kind people at the CMB (Compagnie du Mont Blanc) have decided to reduce prices for this spring due to the reduced snow conditions to be found on some of the south facing slopes.
This does not mean that conditions are not good, indeed, the conditions up high on the Gransd Montet are actually very nice.
Town is quite quiet at the moment making this a great time to come out to Chamonix for a bit of skiing and a bit of chilling. Â The hiking trails are all good below about 1500/1700 meters and i have seen lots of people out running on these trails getting ready for the many trail running events coming up this year.
