The weather in Chamonix has just made a massive “U” turn and gone from bright warm sunny weather to bitterly cold and snowy. Â During Saturday (21st November) is snowed all day and even into the night, since then it has remained very cold (-10 Sunday 22nd November).
Whilst on a recent private transfer trip from Geneva city centre to Chamonix with a group from the southern hemisphere (who hadn’t seen snow before) we took this picture. Needless to say they were pleased.
After this, our group headed off to Annecy before returning to Geneva.
With all this snow and more forecast this week it looks like its here to stay, even the “Compagnie Du Mont Blanc” have announced they will be opening earlier than they usually do.
