Well, the recent snow has improved things a bit in the Chamonix valley but more so on the Italian side of the mountain with about 15 cm at 1500m and up to 25-30 cm at 3000m. Â The difference in weather between the two sides of MT Blanc can often give drastically different conditions, and this year has been no exception.
We are off now for a couple of days adventuring on the Italian side and hopefully a heli drop on Friday depending on condition, we will bring a full update on conditions the minute we are back.
