At Only 1hr 20 driving time from Geneva airport to Courmayeur its surprising that this world class resort isn’t busier than it is, but this is one of the reasons we love it so much. Â Lots of people dont consider the option of driving an extra 20 minutes past Chamonix, but they should!
Courmayeur has it all, great skiing both on and off piste, wonderful restaurants on and off the mountain, a wide range of hotels and other accommodation, access to the “Valley Blanche” via Helbronna and the most state of the art gondola in the world called “Skyway”.
Its no wonder we travel through the Mont-Blanc Tunnel ourselves when ever we get the chance, and for this year we now have the winter opening times.
