Luxury Chamonix transfers

Chamonix and the word “luxury” never used to go hand in hand. Until recently there were no 5 star hotels and Michelin stared restaurants in chamonix. If you were after that type of service you needed to head over to Courchevel or Gstaad. Chamonix was the budget hang out for climbers looking to camp for free and eat pasta cooked over a gas stove, maybe splashing out on a hamburger once a week for a treat!

You can still do that if you want! (and many do) But Chamonix has evolved into a cosmopolitan and happening destination on many peoples bucket list of “places to see before I die”, and your options of places to stay has improved immensely too.

The hotel “Albert premiere” which is part of the exclusive “Relais and Chateaux” group recently attained 5 star status and the family “Tatinger” are in the process of renovating the old “Hotel du Mont-Blanc” into a luxury 5 star hotel.

The result of this evolution is a town where almost anything goes. It’s the extreme sports capital of Europe with the high alpine summits only a 20 minute cable car ride away yet you could equally find your self in a wine bar rubbing shoulders with many of the a-list celebrities that have homes here.

Why not come and see for yourself this amazing town called Chamonix.
