La Thuile, Italy.

La Thuile, Italy, is easily reached from Geneva by road in roughly 1hr 30mins via the Mont-Blanc tunnel.  As a transport company we provide this service on a regular basis and find customers are very happy with their holiday at this, lesser knowen, quiet ski resort.

The Village of La Thuile is a lovely old italien town that has managed to retain its charm whislt at the same time develop its skiing facilities.  its not uncommon (for us drivers!) to stop off at one of the local cafes and be sat down next to a local going about their daily business.

The skiing in La Thuile is linked with the French resort of La Rosiere and together they boast over 160 km’s of piste.  Skiing exists for all abilities from beginner to expert.

Beginner skiers

The beginner ski school uses the well equiped village nursery slopes which cater for all ages and abilities.

Intermediate skiers

Intermediate skiers have a wide choice of runs which are south facing, many of which are within the “La Rosiere” ski area.  From the Col de la Traversette there are fantastic views.

Advanced Skiers

Advanced skiers will not be disapointed here.  Many of our friends from Chamonix (possibly the best area for advanced skiers on the planet) will head over to La Thuile to ascape the crowdes and experience the awsome off piste.  There are steep off piste runs heading back to town, many high peaks to explore and some fantastic heli skiing (which is not allowed in France).
